The view out of the window of a 200 year old Cobb cottage at the Morton vineyard up Marama Road in the Awatere yesterday. I hadn't been that far up this road before (it's a loooong story) and was so surprised to find so many vines planted up there. The vineyard manager was a bit surprised to find me sifting down his rows too but he very kindly left me to my sifting.

Things are looking so healthy and green and the initial bunch counts indicate a fruitful harvest...
