Marlborough Update...

Hey there,

An unusually overcast and almost gloomy day in Marlborough yesterday but this almost enhances the colour contrasts here, overlooking a Pinot vineyard in the lower Dashwood and north to the Wither Hills.

Things were racing ahead this season with warm weather bringing on early budburst and flowering but a cool few days has slowed the heat accumulation. Plus the heavier crops are probably having an impact too as we ease towards harvest.

Things are looking good though and fingers crossed for some settled weather through March and April.
