Clutha River

Hi there,

After a balmy 30 degree day spent walking vineyards with a piece of refill paper tucked under my hat to keep the gamma rays off the back of my neck it was just too tempting to pull over and take a photo of the tranquil Clutha River. I love those long evenings in Central where it's nearly 8pm yet it looks and feels like mid-afternoon. It's surprisingly green here at the moment with periodic rainfall keeping the grass growing and the vines prolific. Mowing and trimming yet another job to add to the growers' lengthy list at this time of year.

Lucky they are so good at it. Everything looks jolly lovely. I can't wait!!
